Blue Devils flag football coach Wren Moore knows the hallways at Moody won’t be the same after Wednesday.
Part of it starts with the trophy case.
“Walking into the school instead of seeing that red map, we get to see a blue one; that’s one thing,” she smiled.
The rest is a little bit more than that.
After falling to Montgomery Catholic in last season’s Class 1A/5A championship, the Blue Devils returned to Birmingham and left with a 27-18 victory for the program’s first state flag football championship.
Moody was ranked No. 1 in Class 1A/5A in the final rankings , while Montgomery Catholic finished at No. 2.
“We are grateful to be here on this stage for the second year in a row,” Moore said. “That’s my first thing. I want to give the glory to God for us being here for a second year
