At the top of the to-do list for the Saskatchewan Roughriders this off-season is securing their quarterback room.
With starter Trevor Harris and backups Jake Maier, Tommy Stevens and Jack Coan all pending free agents as of Wednesday afternoon, the Green and White need to decide who gets a contract extension and who will head to free agency in February.
The players, of course, also have a say in them matter.
At this point, it makes sense for general manager Jeremy O’Day to give Harris another one-year extension after doing so last December. Harris is coming off a strong season which concluded with him hoisting the Grey Cup while being named the game’s MVP.
But until a deal gets done, we are free to speculate as to who will be under centre for the Roughriders in 2026 as they look to
