LOS ANGELES - Holland Taylor delivered a heartfelt, affectionate tribute to partner Sarah Paulson on Tuesday, Dec. 2, that shined a spotlight on both her career and their long-standing relationship at an event honoring Paulson with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Taylor described Paulson, 50, as “a wild creature in the animal kingdom - warm-blooded, instinctive, mysterious,” praising her acting as deeply intuitive, truthful and fearless. She compared Paulson to a “mongoose,” not dangerous like a snake but formidable in her emotional and artistic power.

Taylor also celebrated Paulson’s personal qualities, describing her as ‘deeply understanding, loving and loyal … a person who is safety itself.’ She praised Paulson’s loyalty and love for family and friends and an innate humanity
