YOUNGSTOWN - The Mahoning County Coroner has released the identity of the woman who died following a three-car crash in Youngstown over the weekend.

Lieutenant Robert Gentile with the Youngstown Police Department told 21 News one driver is dead and another is in "serious, but stable" condition following a crash that occurred on the Madison Avenue Expressway (Route 422) in Youngstown on Saturday, November 29.

The Coroner's Office identified the driver as 48-year-old Kelly Grimes.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. Saturday and temporarily shut down the eastbound lanes of Route 422 near St. Elizabeth Hospital.

It is unclear how the crash happened. Lieutenant Gentile says the crash is still under investigation.
