KENNEWICK, Wash. - 18-year-old Hunter Black was killed inside his home on October 26, 2018. Now, more than seven years later, the last outstanding suspect in his murder has been arrested.
The Kennewick Police Department shared on social media that they arrested 26-year-old Kavonte Conley on Tuesday for first-degree murder. KPD previously asked the public for help locating Conley in 2023.
" Our detectives have been investigating this challenging case for the past seven years while remaining determined and dedicated to identifying and arresting all those involved," KPD said. " Two of the three suspects were arrested in 2022 and 2023 and are serving prison sentences for the crime. An arrest warrant for Murder 1 was issued for Kavonte Conley in 2022, and he had been actively avoiding
