As families start making holiday travel plans, the Old Farmer’s Almanac Christmas 2025 outlook offers a hopeful take : a “white Christmas” in parts of New England is possible — but not guaranteed.

According to The Almanac, snow is possible in parts of the Northeast around Christmas Day, with the region included among areas where holiday snowfall could occur.

The map highlights zones across the country that may see snow, rain or sunshine as people travel for the holiday.
