A four-year-old died Tuesday after authorities were called to respond to a “medical assist” in Wantage Township, state police said.
New Jersey State Police were called to a location on South Shore Drive at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday and found an unresponsive four-year-old, police said.
The child died as a result of their injuries, according to police.
Authorities did not say what type of injuries the child had suffered. A spokesperson for the state police did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
Authorities did not provide additional information about the incident.
