LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office released the results of its “Make It Click” campaign Wednesday.

The Make It Click mobilization is a selective enforcement campaign to promote awareness and increase the use of seat belts and child restraint systems.

The sheriff’s office participated in the mobilization by increasing the number of deputies patrolling in marked patrol cruisers from Nov. 26 through Nov. 30. The additional deputies were assigned to traffic enforcement with an emphasis on seat belt and child restraint violations.

The results are as follows:

62 vehicles contacted

Two people arrested on outstanding arrest warrants

27 traffic citations, including:

Two driving under suspension

17 speeding

One vehicle registration violation

Five stop sign violati
