KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Thousands of units of product were seized by the U.S. Justice Department and Food and Drug Administration during a recent crackdown targeting the drug commonly known as 7-OH.
The DOJ says complaints and court papers filed in the U.S. Western District of Missouri included government warnings about the illegal nature of 7-hydroxymitragine products.
DOJ officials say seizure complaints from FDA inspections showed the firms at Shaman Botanicals LLC and Relax Relief Rejuvenate Trading LLC were continuing to distribute illegal products after receiving the warnings.
