An Amtrak train collided with a pickup truck on Thursday afternoon in Mobile County, Alabama, marking the third crash on the Amtrak Mardi Gras Route in less than three months, according to multiple media reports.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and St. Elmo-Irvington Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene in Irvington, a community along Alabama's Gulf Coast, after the train struck the bed of the pickup truck. No injuries were reported.
