The Buffalo Bills are hoping Darius Slay has some more plays left that live up to his nickname.

Buffalo added a big name, and a big resume, to their secondary, claiming veteran cornerback Darius "Big Play" Slay off waivers Wednesday, a day after the Pittsburgh Steelers released the defensive back.

The move gives Buffalo a decorated, experienced option in the secondary as it make a playoff push. Slay won Super Bowl LIX with the Philadelphia Eagles last year.

Slay, 34, is a six-time Pro Bowler and 2017 first-team All-Pro. The 13-year veteran has 28 career interceptions, including an NFL-best eight picks in 2017, and has appeared in 187 games with the Detroit Lions , Eagles and Steelers.

In a corresponding move, the Bills released cornerback Ja'Marcus Ingram.
