7 Roefs: Beaten by wicked deflection for goal. Couple of sloppy passes almost played Sunderland into trouble but so calm and composed throughout and almost registered assist of season with stoppage time pass for Isidor.

7 Mukiele: Gakpo didn’t get a kick in the first half and was replaced at half-time. And Liverpool aimed for the opposite flank in the second half when they tried to get Salah on the ball. Desperately unlucky with deflection for goal.

8 Ballard: Another colossal defensive performance. Isak didn’t get a sniff and Ballard deserved a clean sheet.
