Without Canadian Cancer Society volunteer drivers, Brantford resident Heather Dutton would have no way to get to her medical appointments in Hamilton.
For the past 14 months, Dutton has been relying on drivers with the Wheels of Hope program to get her to cancer treatment appointments at Juravinski Hospital.

“Once I start treatments, I go every few days,” said Dutton who has undergone both chemotherapy and, currently, immunotherapy to treat e ndometrial cancer. “My family is all out of town.
“Other than Wheels of Hope, I have no way to get to the hospital. It would be the end of my treatment.”
