American Taekwondo Association leaders on Wednesday unveiled changes made to a monument in the H.U. Lee International Gate and Garden at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock ahead of this weekend's competition at the center, the organization's first there since 2019.

The black granite vision wall's redesigned engravings commemorate the history of the organization, which has been headquartered in Little Rock since 1977, the work of its founder, the late Eternal Grand Master Haeng Ung Lee, and the current and former state and city leaders who have worked with the group.

On Friday and Saturday, the convention center will be the site of the organization's inaugural H.U. Lee Classic competition. More than 1,000 students, instructors and families are set to attend the event, which w
