GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Brian Crowell has worked at Cornerstone for the past two years as the school's director of campus safety.
Over the past few months, he's been enrolled in their new bachelor's degree program that caters to cell phone users. Before then, the last college course he took was 35 years ago.
"It's a lot of different options," said Crowell. "I can work at my own pace. I'm averaging finishing one class a month right now. I just started my sixth class, so when I have a lot of downtime on the weekends, I can really catch up on it. If I'm out mowing my yard or doing whatever, I can put my earbuds in, listen to a lecture and listen to a podcast."
