Indiana's Curt Cignetti was named Big Ten Coach of the Year for the second year in a row, the conference announced Wednesday.
Cignetti has led the Hoosiers to the first 12-win season in program history and a berth in the Big Ten Championship on Saturday against Ohio State. He is the first to win the award in back-to-back seasons since Gary Barnett did so at Northwestern in 1995 and 1996 and the first ever to do so in his first two seasons at a school.
