Actor BD Wong has publicly apologized after drawing criticism for a racially insensitive social-media remark.
Wong, known for his performances on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” the “Jurassic Park,” “Jurassic World” films and other major productions, responded to a post by Black wildlife influencer Mike Holston (also known online as @TheRealTarzann), Newsweek reported . The post featured a video of Holston with an animal and invited viewers to “Name this animal … wrong answers only."
In a now-deleted reply, Wong purportedly wrote, “It appears to be a Black man,” Newsweek also reported.
