Lawyers representing a "growing number" of women affected by breast cancer failings in County Durham are holding extra free clinics to support those affected. After a damming report - and coverage in the press - revealed how failings in breast cancer care had been driven by "persistent governance failures" and "failures of executive and clinical leadership".
These failings included some women receiving surgeries they did not need, and others being misdiagnosed .
