OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - In a recent recall election, voters in Valley, Nebraska removed the town’s mayor and the president of its city council from their positions.

Right now in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Scott Belt, a member of the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors, is fighting to keep his job. But that fight won’t happen at the ballot box.

The state of Iowa does not have any recall provisions for its elected officials.
