The embattled Celina Independent School District is now facing a fourth civil lawsuit related to a former teacher and coach accused of sexually exploiting nearly 40 boys.
William “Caleb” Elliott, 26, remains in jail on state and federal charges, accused of secretly recording boys in Moore Middle School’s locker room and allegedly coercing some of the minors into exercising while nude.
A fourth civil lawsuit has been filed in Collin County District Court on behalf of 17 families represented by attorneys Mitch Little, Jack Walker, and Quentin Brogdon.
The suit, naming Elliott and Celina ISD as the defendants, seeks a jury trial and over one million dollars in damages.
The families’ attorneys held a press conference Wednesday morning outside the courthouse to announce the filing.
