Saddle Tramp traditions not allowed at Big 12 Championship due to rules, regulations

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Texas Tech Saddle Tramps said on social media that the Red Raiders will be without some traditions on Saturday at the Big 12 Conference Championship game.

Due to regulations and rules, the Red Raiders will be without Bangin’ Bertha, the pregame shotguns and the bell circle.

According to the post, the Saddle Tramps will be allowed to ring their cowbells pregame and when the offense scores.
