TOWNSHIP OF HAMILTON, Ohio —
Hamilton Township police officer Megan Graham was honored Wednesday with a procession from CVG Airport to Tufts Funeral Home in Loveland, Ohio, after she died last week following a year-long battle with cancer.
A private plane was donated to transport Graham from Washington, D.C., where she died. Her department held her in such high regard that nearly a dozen cruisers participated in the procession, demonstrating their compassion and respect. Advertisement
Hamilton Township Police Chief Scott Hughes reflected on the emotional journey.
"When you can't fix it and it's out of your control, that bothers you, and it's definitely impacted the members of my agency," Hughes said.
