Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) ripped former Vice President Kamala Harris for telling “blatant lies” in her book published earlier this year.
The Atlantic’s Tim Alberta sat down with Shapiro ahead of the release of Harris’ book, “107 Days”, earlier this fall. Alberta specifically asked Shapiro about an excerpt from the memoir, in which Harris described interviewing the governor during the vice president selection process.
According to Alberta, Shapiro grew frustrated when asked about Harris’ claim that the governor inquired about including Pennsylvania artists in the vice-presidential residence. Alberta also asked Shapiro about Harris writing that Shapiro insisted “that he would want to be in the room for every decision.”
