EAST LONGMEADOW, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A dramatic scene happened in East Longmeadow around 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning when a car burst into flames in the middle of the road at the intersection of Pease Road and Prospect Street.

Fire officials say they arrived to the scene to find the car’s engine compartment completely overtaken by fire.

We don’t know if anyone was inside the car at the time. Thankfully, no one was hurt. We’re told the car didn’t look to be involved in an accident.
