MINNEAPOLIS — Indiana basketball walked off the court amidst a sea of maroon and gold on Wednesday night at Willliams arena.

Minnesota fans rushed the court as soon as the buzzer sounded on a 73-64 upset win over the No. 19 Hoosiers (7-1, 0-1 Big Ten).

Not only was it a ranked win for the Gophers, it was also snapped a nine-game losing streak in the series dating back to 2018-19 and gave the program's first-year coach Niko Medved a signature win at his alma mater after an uneven start to the season.

It was the first time opposing fans stormed the court on Indiana since the program lost 71-68 in overtime to Purdue Fort Wayne on Nov. 22, 2016 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
