LOS ANGELES — Criscilla Anderson, the professional dancer and choreographer who starred in Netflix's 2020 reality series "Country Ever After," died at age 45 following a seven-year battle with colon cancer.
Anderson's death was announced Tuesday through a statement posted to her social media accounts , written by the dancer herself before her passing. Her close friend and photographer, Lindsey Villatoro, shared the pre-written message on Anderson's behalf.
"If you're reading this, I've finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love," Anderson wrote in her farewell message. She urged her community not to remain in darkness, emphasizing that she had fought hard and loved deeply.
