Creative solutions still exist for NACS

When Northwest Allen Schools voters rejected the recent referendum, it set off my thought process of “how can the school respond?” Here are some suggestions.

Considering the relative proximity to East Allen and Fort Wayne Community Schools, the three districts need to throw away the competitive nature in academics — keep it up in athletics. Work out a plan to utilize the existing trades training facilities for everyone interested and share available resources to maximize opportunities.

The Anthis Career Center exists, as do similar opportunities in EACS. I’ll bet Trine University would welcome the opportunity to offer health science classes for high schoolers in the brand-new facility on Union Chapel Road. It’s close to Carroll High School.
