TEMPLE, Texas — Early signing day brought celebration to Temple High School on Wednesday as football standouts Jason Bradford and Jamarion Carlton made their college commitments official in front of a packed crowd.
Bradford signed with TCU, while Carlton announced he will head to Texas after flipping his previous commitment from Baylor.
Carlton said joining the Longhorns gives him a chance to compete at the highest level.
"Really just being a part of, you know... like a championship contender team, It’s gonna be competition every day in practices. You got great players, people that wanna compete out there, and then the atmosphere is crazy. So being around like the all the fans and all that, it’s loud. It’s like something that you always wanna play for," Carlton said.
