LOS ANGELES – No tickets were sold matching all six numbers in Wednesday’s Powerball lottery drawing.
Three tickets were sold matching five numbers in California, Florida, and Kentucky, showing the excitement of the Powerball lottery winners.
The tickets sold in Florida and Kentucky are worth $1 million each.
The ticket sold in Kentucky is worth an additional $1 million. The total prize is $2 million because the winner played the Power Play option for an additional $1.
The ticket sold in California is worth $255,789. It was sold at Buddy’s Liquor Store in the 3200 block of S. Central Ave.
While tickets with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, sold in other states are worth $1 million or $2 million. However, California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid
