MUNCIE, IN — A former corrections officer at the Delaware County Jail has been formally charged with providing a cell phone and controlled substances to prisoners.
Angela Nedra Dildy, 42, was charged on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Delaware Circuit Court 2 with conspiracy to commit trafficking with an inmate, trafficking with an inmate, and official misconduct.
Dildy was arrested in August 2024 after she reportedly "admitted to receiving money from outside citizens in exchange for trafficking a cell phone into the Delaware County Jail," according to an affidavit.
The court document said Dildy also provided marijuana edibles to inmates and accepted "multiple payments
