Kate Middleton wears a crown just as effortlessly as she does a pair of jeans — but she isn't donning the full complement of royal jewels as frequently as princesses before her.

Even though she's the Princess of Wales and future queen, Kate only wears tiaras for special occasions, from hosting state visits for foreign visitors to the annual Diplomatic Reception to royal weddings. And since marrying Prince William in 2011, she's only worn five different tiaras from the royal collection, including a rarely-seen ruby-and-diamond circlet she pulled from the vault for a 2025 state dinner.
