Millions of state pensioners will be sent a surprise bonus payment - THIS WEEK. Department for Work and Pensions will be sent an unexpected Christmas Bonus they may have forgotten about - because of its paltry nature.

DWP state pensioners are set to receive an extra £10 from the Labour Party overnment this week, deposited straight into their bank accounts. The £10 Christmas Bonus one-off, tax-free payment that goes to anyone receiving certain benefits during the qualifying week.

This year, the qualifying period from the DWP runs from December 1 to December 7.- Unfortunately for hard-up and skint households, the Christmas Bonus has stayed at exactly £10 since it was first introduced back in 1972.
