A Liverpool café is bucking the trend of serving viral social media trends by keeping things traditional. Standing proud just a stones throw away from Sefton Park is the rather fittingly named Park Café, which has been operating under the same name and serving the same English café favourites for the last 30 years.
As I arrive at Park Café, co-owner Arooje Naeem, 37, is taking orders from regulars at the counter, while Debbie is busy in the back rustling up their full-English breakfasts on the grill. While the Naeem family have owned the property for years, Park Café was previously ran by Debbie's sister, Karen Boone, until she died from cancer a few years ago.
