Apex Hotels has outlined its vision to preserve the “grandeur” of the Dunblane Hydro as work gets under way on what will be the comprehensive transformation of the historic property.

Edinburgh -based Apex, which acquired the hotel just over a year ago, hopes to complete its multi-phase refurbishment of one of Scotland’s original hydropathic hotels from the Victorian era over the next 12 to 18 months. Central to its plans is to position Dunblane Hydro, which officially opened as an Apex hotel on November 28 after a previous management deal with Hilton ended, as one Scotland’s premier destinations for conferences and events.
