Martha Stewart is ready to share her memories of being struck by lightning not once but three times in her life.
“The first time I was standing at my sink in a fabulous cottage in Massachusetts. I was washing dishes, and there was a pretty little garden that I had built out front, and there was a well casing or the metal pipe that goes into the ground,” Stewart recalled on the Monday, December 1, episode of QVC’s “50+ & Unfiltered” podcast. “The water was running. I was looking out the window, washing dishes and the lightning came down zig-zagging to the well casing. … All of a sudden, it came out of the faucet in the water and zapped me right in the stomach and threw me on the floor.”
