An Audi almost met a watery end as it was left teetering on the edge of the River Severn .
Eyewitnesses likened the scene to "something from the Italian Job" as the black Audi A4 dangled precariously above the deep in Worcester .
The car was believed to have rolled forward after being parked outside Worcester Rowing Club on Monday afternoon, December 1.

The £40,000 motor was snapped next to a red triangle sign alerting drivers to the risk of their vehicles plunging into the river. Keith Hiley, 67, who spotted the precarious car, said: "I think there was a touch of embarrassment there, you know, 'you're in the spotlight, mate, because you've done something really, really ridiculous'.
