Nudging his way to the center of the Crest football team’s postgame huddle , coach Greg Lloyd excitedly provided Charger players with news they’d eagerly anticipated for some time.
“(We get to play) December football, guys; it means we get to hang Christmas lights in the fieldhouse,” Lloyd said to his team following its 28-14 win over rival South Point last Friday night in their NCHSAA 5A West semifinal matchup.
