Criscilla Crossland Anderson, a choreographer, reality TV show star and the former wife of country musician Coffey Anderson, has died of colon cancer at the age of 45.
Anderson’s death on Tuesday was confirmed by a friend in a post on social media . The post includes a message from Anderson that she wrote before her death.
“If you’re reading this, I’ve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus — peacefully and surrounded by love," Anderson writes. “Please don’t stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone… I’m Home."
USA Today reports Anderson was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2018. She reportedly was cancer free in 2021, but it returned in 2022.
