The report could have far-reaching implications for UK-Russia relations, which are already tense following Vladimir Putin threatening he is ready for a war with Europe
The findings of an inquiry into the death of a woman poisoned by Novichok left on British streets by Russian agents will today be released to the public more than seven years after her death.
Mum-of-three Dawn Sturgess, 44, died three weeks after spraying herself with a discarded bottle of the deadly nerve agent, which she thought was perfume, in Salisbury in July 2018. Her partner Charlie Rowley also fell ill, but survived, as did Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey and former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, who were poisoned four months earlier by Novichok left on the knob of their front door.
