AUGUSTA, Maine (WABI) - The Maine Office of Cannabis Policy has issued a third recall for products from the brand Yani, licensed as NorCo Outdoor Cannabis.
On October 27 a recall was issued for vape cartridges in the strain “Watermelon Chimera” due to unsafe levels of the pesticide Chlorfenapyr.
That recall was expanded on November 13 to include three other strains sold under the Yani brand.
This prompted further testing of other products produced by NorCo.
The MOCP found in their investigation that five different strains of flower and pre-roll products sold by NorCo were contaminated with unsafe levels of mold, yeast, microbials and arsenic.
The products were sold between October 15 and December 2 at 22 stores across Maine.
