Quentin Tarantino ‘s drive-by attack on Paul Dano has sparked a spirited defense of the There Will Be Blood actor.
Tarantino appeared on The Bret Easton Ellis podcast earlier this week and selected his top 20 movies of the 21st century. Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood was in the ranking, but Tarantino had one major issue with the movie: Dano.
“It’s supposed to be a two-hander, but it’s also drastically obvious that it’s not a two-hander. [Dano] is weak sauce, man. He is the weak sister,” he said of the Dano’s performance alongside Daniel Day-Lewis. The Pulp Fiction director added that Dano was the “weakest f***ing actor in SAG.”
