CANTON — Glenville looks to win its third state title in four seasons. Shelby is hoping for its first in program history.

It all comes to a head at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5 when the Tarblooders and Whippets play in the Division IV high school football state finals .

Glenville (11-3) vs. Shelby (14-0)

This is the 22nd playoff appearance and fifth consecutive for the Tarblooders. Glenville won state titles in 2022 and 2023 and was runner-up in 2009 and 2013.
