Pictures have revealed the scale of a landslide at a Welsh beach beach. The incident occurred on Tuesday at Nefyn on the northern coastline of the Llyn Peninsula.

It came after over 24 hours of rainfall on Monday which triggered multiple flood warnings. The landslip has resulted in the closure of the Wales Coast Path at that location, with a diversion route set to be established.

The footage captures wet sand continuing to slide down the cliff face onto the beach beneath. One reader likened it to "Tipping Point but with mud" in reference to the TV
