MSU football signing day preserved in Pat Fitzgerald's 2026 class

EAST LANSING – Jonathan Smith’s last recruiting class will become Pat Fitzgerald’s first with Michigan State football .

And Smith’s assistant coaches who stuck around after his firing helped the Spartans keep almost all of the 2026 prospects who signed Wednesday, Dec. 3 , on the first of the three-day early signing period window.
