The New York Mets are coming off a very disappointing season this year. After adding Juan Soto, among others, they missed the postseason while the Cincinnati Reds danced into October. As a result, the Mets entered the offseason with a newfound sense of urgency.

To kick off their offseason, the Mets reportedly agreed to a deal with New York Yankees closer Devin Williams. After adding Williams, the Mets could dive back into free agency to add more talent.
