Home Bargains has launched an £8 decoration that could make houses feel cosier throughout the winter months. When temperatures drop, many Brits living in poorly insulated properties struggle with cold draughts. Yet budget-friendly remedies such as draught excluder tape and doorstops can provide substantial relief.

Representatives from the Energy Saving Trust suggest that draught-proofing a home could help to save around £85 a year. The experts explained: "Draught proofing around windows, floors and doors could save you around £85 a year in Great Britain (GB) and £80 in Northern Ireland (NI)."
