LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The families of two victims killed in the Nov. 4 UPS plane crash filed wrongful death lawsuits Wednesday morning, alleging five major companies — including UPS — should be held responsible for the crash that killed 14 people near Muhammad Ali International Airport.

The suits name UPS, UPS Air, General Electric Aerospace, Boeing and VT San Antonio Aerospace as defendants.

Gabby Hermosillo-Nunez is the plaintiff in one lawsuit involving her sister, Trina Chavez, who worked at Grade A Auto Parts.

A second suit was filed on behalf of Lexi Faith and Angelica Anderson, daughters of Angela Anderson, who was a customer at Grade A when the MD-11 cargo jet crashed.
