A man from Washington State has been accused of threatening to kill a Massachusetts child, sending them child sex abuse material (CSAM) and videos of animals being crushed.

Joseph Pacheco, 23, of Everett, Wash. was indicted by a federal grand jury in Boston on several counts, including distribution of CSAM to a minor, five counts of transmitting threatening communications in interstate commerce and possession and distribution of animal crushing videos.

Pacheco was arrested on Wednesday morning and was scheduled to appear for court in the Western District of Washington in the afternoon. He will appear in federal court in Boston at a later date.
