HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - We’ve got a frigid start to the day for many, but warmer temperatures across western Nebraska. Areas to the east with temperatures in the single digits to low teens, but wind chills near to below zero for many. We’ll see these cold temperatures persist through the early morning hours before we warm up into the afternoon. Mostly cloudy skies this morning will clear out leading to plenty of sunshine into the afternoon. Temperatures warm into the 40’s across western Nebraska, mid 30’s for central Nebraska, and upper 20’s across eastern Nebraska. South southwest winds will be breezy around 10 to 20 mph ushering in that warmer air. Skies stay clear into the overnight hours before cloud cover builds in tomorrow morning.
