OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — Emergency crews rushed a 47-year-old Hudsonville man to the hospital Thursday morning after an oncoming Jeep crossed the center line and struck his car head-on.
The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office said the wreck happened around 7:15 a.m. in Blendon Township.
Deputies said a 31-year-old Hudsonville man in a Jeep Wrangler was headed east on Port Sheldon Street when he lost control, crossed the center line, and struck a westbound Chevy Impala.
The Impala's driver, the 31-year-old Hudnsoville man, was pinned inside his car. Firefighters had to pry him out.
LIFE EMS took him to a nearby hospital for his serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Law enforcement said the Jeep's driver was not injured.
